JR045 Project Engineer

About the role

We have an in-house Architectural Finishes & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with superintendents and project managers on the day-to-day operations of construction sites.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Working with submittals, RFI’s and RFCO’s.
• Assisting in contract buyouts.
• Working with architects, engineers and subcontractors.
• Developing project schedules and phasing plans.
• Attending and documenting project meetings.

Requirements

• A minimum of two (2) years’ in the commercial construction field paired with a degree in Construction Management/Engineering/Architecture or a related field.
• Will also consider a recent graduate that completed an internship in the construction field.
• LEED AP certification is preferred but not required.

• Computer Skills Required – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
