Jr. Systems Engineer

About the role

As a Jr. Systems Engineer at Bigbear.ai in Annapolis Junction, MD, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of reliability and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based systems using AWS services.
• Collaborate with software developers to integrate new systems into existing infrastructure.
• Perform system monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule
