Jr Social Content Creator

About the role

GALLEGOS United is looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate creator of content that arrests short attention spans and inspires engagement. You will conceptualize, create, and produce compelling social content that resonates with target audiences, including shooting and editing all types of content (DSLR and iPhone). Working closely with our creative and strategy teams, you’ll deliver culturally relevant content that drives awareness and engagement on social channels.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify insights, trends, and opportunities to elevate social content
• Contribute to monthly content calendars across all brand channels
• Create various forms of social media content—videos, images, and text captions—suitable for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube
• Contribute to the creative ideation, content capture, and editing of brand activations to keep the brand at the forefront of pop culture
• Develop and create big ideas to produce viral moments
• Ideate, plan, and produce high-quality and culturally relevant video and still content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, Reddit, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms
• Write creative briefs to provide direction and collaborate with influencers, photographers, videographers, designers, and other content creators
• Work on multiple productions simultaneously, pushing creative and technical boundaries

Food & Beverage expertise is a plus.

Requirements

• Must have experience as a video editor, camera operator, and still photographer
• Ability to capture, edit, and post-produce video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and Lightroom
• Ability to design and create videos, GIFs, animations, and other multimedia elements that effectively communicate brand messages
• Stay ahead of current trends and pop culture to ensure content remains relevant
• Proficient at creating nimble tabletop setups for photography
• Strong animation and typography sensibilities
• Strong time management skills and ability to organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• A killer portfolio (link must be included in your resume—submissions without a portfolio will not be reviewed)

Pay

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000. Actual offer may vary by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
