About The Job
The People Data Analyst owns the reporting and data quality foundation that enables our People Analytics team to deliver insights across Talent Acquisition and People Operations. You'll write the SQL, maintain the dashboards, run audits, and fulfill the ad hoc requests that keep our stakeholders informed and our data trustworthy. This role is ideal for an early-career analyst who thrives on precision, wants deep exposure to HR data systems end-to-end, and is looking to build the technical muscle that underpins a career in people analytics. You'll work closely with our Senior Analysts — learning how upstream data work translates into downstream strategy while owning your own deliverables from day one.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or HR operations role.
- Solid proficiency in SQL for data extraction, joining tables, and data manipulation.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, index/match, formulas, data cleaning).
- Hands-on experience navigating and utilizing business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for data visualization and report generation.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of identifying data discrepancies and running quality assurance checks on large datasets.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with HR systems and data structures (e.g., Greenhouse ATS, Gem CRM, Rippling, Workday).
- Basic understanding of core HR and recruiting metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover, time-to-hire, pipeline conversion, retention).
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts or version control (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with Python or R for basic data manipulation tasks.
- Familiarity with Palantir Foundry US.
