Responsibilities

• Aid in preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including rooftop AC units, chillers, humidifiers, boilers, and process cooling water systems.
• Follow written work orders, sketches, and verbal instructions while ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
• Perform basic plumbing tasks such as clearing clogged drains, replacing fixtures, servicing flushometers, and maintaining restroom equipment.
• Support facility operations by escorting third-party vendors working in controlled areas.
• Handle interplant deliveries and assist with inventory movement from docks to stockrooms.
• Provide general building maintenance support and assist senior tradespeople with higher-level tasks.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC training, coursework, or certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to codes and procedures.
• Willingness to perform physically active tasks in a facilities environment.
