Jr Engineer

About the Role

This position provides entry-level administrative and technical support to the Mesa Energy Services engineering team. The Junior Engineer will apply their engineering education to assist Senior Engineers and Directors on diverse projects in the healthcare and higher education markets.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks assigned by senior engineers and directors.
• Assist the project engineer in conducting job site surveys and gathering information.
• Support the company’s project improvement process by refining calculation spreadsheet templates, updating measure descriptions, and collecting supporting documentation for future reference.
• Attend audits with Senior Engineers to provide support, including equipment identification and photography.
• Assist in copying/printing, preparing proposals, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Trades or vocational education, or pursuing a Mechanical or Energy Engineering degree.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and related programs.
• Computer savvy with advanced knowledge of software handling.
• Willingness and ability to learn new programs.
• Working knowledge of energy simulation software.
