Jr. Cost Accounting Associate

About the role

This position supports the Wholesale Footwear business and is based in our LIC office, requiring on-site work five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Break down duties, freight charges, broker’s fee, and trucking charges by style/purchase order by division.
• Prepare and upload data of duty allocation by shipment.
• Audit and approve bills for sea freight charges shipped under our direct or indirect contracts with carriers.
• Check documents sent with shipping advices.
• List approved brokers into an Excel sheet.
• Support in month-end and quarter-end closing.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with available support and resources.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with accounting/imports preferred.

Pay

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $24.00 - $26.00 per hour. Ranges are based on factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience, education, and organizational structure.
