Jr Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

Aid in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Maintain cloud environments to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance.

Support the implementation of cloud-based applications, services, and infrastructure solutions.

Configure and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and cloud resources.

Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

Collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators to support cloud-based solutions.

Resolve cloud infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.

Qualifications

• Obtain a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Have 1–4 years of professional experience in cloud computing, system administration, software development, DevOps, or a related technical role.
• Show basic knowledge of cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Show familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows Server.
• Show understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Show basic scripting or programming experience in Python, PowerShell, Bash, Java, or similar languages.
• Show familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Show exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Show strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Show willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA for the paid training program and travel or relocate as required for client engagements across the United States.
