Position Summary

Responsible for completing processing of linen to meet quality and efficiency standards.

Major Responsibilities

• Complete repair and maintenance of industrial washers, dryers, boilers, compressors, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Diagnose, rebuild, and repair equipment, perform inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports.

Qualifications And Minimum Requirements

• Able to respond to basic verbal commands.
• Effectively follow directions.
• Organized.
• High school diploma or skilled trade school/vocational schooling.
• 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in a large-sized facility in a maintenance capacity.

Physical / Mental Requirements

• May be at an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Able to stand for 8-hour shifts.
• Able to push or pull carts weighing several hundred pounds.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand on feet and work in hot temperatures for several hours.

Schedule

Must be available to work morning and or overnight shift. May include working on the weekends or during Holidays.
