About the role
As a Journeyman Tool & Die Technician at Progressive Tooling, you will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and maintaining precision tools and dies used in various manufacturing processes. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all tools meet the required specifications.Responsibilities
- Design and manufacture complex tooling and dies using CAD software.
- Operate and maintain CNC machines and manual tools to produce high-quality parts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and die performance.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements in tooling and die manufacturing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool and die manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software and CNC machine operation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
