About the role
Relapath is seeking a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter in the Greater Fargo, ND area for a direct-hire position. You will install, modify, and service fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings.
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation of sprinkler piping, heads, hangers, and related components following approved blueprints and NFPA 13/13R/13D standards
- Cut, thread, groove, and join pipe using hand and power tools
- Lead and assist with system testing, flushing, and inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Attend all required apprenticeship classes and complete coursework on schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Enrollment in, or eligibility for, a UA (United Association) or equivalent registered apprenticeship program
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license
- Clear background check
- Basic experience working for a construction company or in farming, HVAC, framing, or installing sprinklers
- Mechanically inclined with strong experience working with hands and hand tools
