Qualifications
- Clean driving record
- Proficiently uses hand and power tools
- Scissor lift and bucket truck experience required
- Experience installing a variety of signs required
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license REQUIRED
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the sign industry or a similar field
- Strong understanding of electrical systems related to signage
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A welding certification and/or CDL license would be a plus but is not required
- Crane operator license is a plus!
Skills
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical signage, including LED and neon signs
- Interpret sign designs and electrical schematics to ensure accurate installation
- Conduct site inspections to plan and prepare for sign installations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and functioning state
- Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and professional interactions
