Journeyman Pressman – Chattanooga Manufacturing Shift: Rotating Nights - 7pm to 7am

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following

• Affix to the 1stPressperson in the operation of the Offset Press.
• Including but not limited to performing all safety and quality checks.
• Responsible for the operation of the press feed section.
• Responsible for prepping press for next production run; sheets, plates, ink, etc.
• Must assist the 1stPressperson in meeting safety, quality, and production standards.
• Must be able to take over the 1stPressperson’s duties during absences.
• Affix in training other press personnel.
• Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED minimum.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. May require the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• May require the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Minimum of 5 years Offset experience as a first or second pressperson or the equivalent is required.
• The ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top quality products.
• Normal vision is required; must be able to pass a colorblind test.
