Responsibilities
- Deliver Projects on Budget and Schedule
- Work 40 hours per week, arriving punctually and adhering to scheduled breaks and lunches.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to project standards.
- Attend daily and weekly meetings with the Project Foreman or Project Manager to understand project goals.
- Prepare tools and materials in advance to maximize task efficiency.
- Ensure quality workmanship to prevent deficiencies and avoid rework.
- Proactively request tools or materials early to prevent production delays.
- Customer Service and Jobsite Maintenance
- Refer all customer inquiries regarding changes to project timelines, work scope, or design to the Project Foreman.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers and report any concerns to the Project Foreman.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
- Maintain Licensing and Participate in Training
- Maintain an active journeyman plumber's license (Idaho residents) and meet all continuing education requirements.
- If licensed from another state, obtain an Idaho journeyman license within 6 months of the start date or hold an apprentice license if necessary.
- Actively participate in the company's training and development programs.
- Employee Evaluation and Performance
- Participate in regular employee evaluations, setting personal and professional goals.
- Work with supervisors to improve skills and track progress based on evaluation feedback.
- Mentor and train plumbing apprentices, guiding them through company procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Valid journeyman plumbing license (Idaho or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to project requirements.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and project documentation.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality workmanship.
- Willingness to mentor and train plumbing apprentices.
Qualifications
- Experience in plumbing installations.
