Journeyman Plumber

Job Type Full-time Description Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide provider of skilled commercial services, specializing in retail, grocery, and convenience store service and repair projects. We deliver excellence in commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and remodels. We are currently seeking Journeyman Plumbers to join our Northern California tenant improvement team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial new construction or tenant improvement projects. The company provides a vehicle, materials, and supplies needed to successfully complete assigned projects. This position does not require selling services or collecting payments from customers. Schedule Sunday through Thursday, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.Overtime available but not guaranteed Responsibilities Install, modify, and repair commercial plumbing systems for tenant improvement and remodel projectsComplete plumbing demolition, rough-in, and finish work, including relocating piping and fixtures Install fixtures and equipment according to manufacturer specifications, project requirements, and applicable plumbing codesInstall and connect grease interceptors, sump pumps, sanitary waste and vent piping, and domestic water systems in commercial retail environmentsRead and interpret blueprints, plans, and isometric drawings to lay out piping and determine material requirementsMeasure, cut, assemble, and use appropriate union joints, tools, materials, and installation methodsTest piping and connections for leaks and proper operation, and prepare completed work for inspectionPrepare jobsites by digging trenches, assisting with excavation support, and removing demolition debris and waste materialsSafely operate tools and equipment, including jackhammers and concrete sawsFollow OSHA safety guidelines, company policies, and jobsite requirementsMaintain a clean, organized work area and perform additional duties as needed to support the department Requirements Minimum of four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experienceValid driver license with an insurable driving recordAbility to pass a pre-employment drug testVerbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communication About The Company Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality electrical and plumbing solutions across California and other states.
