About the role
Brandon & Clark is seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our field service team. This position is ideal for an individual who excels in troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. The Journeyman Electrician also plays a vital role in mentoring apprentices, modeling safe work practices, and upholding Brandon & Clark’s commitment to quality and professionalism.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and installation for electrical equipment and systems.
- Perform tasks independently while interpreting drawings and referencing the NEC.
- Lead small tasks and model professional behavior.
- Interact with customers as needed and communicate concerns to supervisors.
- Complete accurate and timely service reports.
Technical Skills & Troubleshooting
- Demonstrate proficiency in the full range of electrical tools and teach proper use to others.
- Know when and how to use various diagnostic tools.
- Apply and explain electrical concepts including AC vs. DC, Ohm’s law, impedance, voltage, current, and resistance.
- Use these principles during troubleshooting, testing, and repairs.
- Mentor less experienced electricians.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in high places, tight spaces, confined spaces, and other challenging environments.
- Ability to lift components up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, push, pull, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
Work Environment
- Work primarily at customer sites with varying environmental conditions.
- Work in shop when not at customer sites.
- Work may occur outdoors in extreme temperatures or noisy environments.
- Possible exposure to mechanical, electrical, and environmental hazards.
- Extensive travel will be required, including out of town and overnight assignments.
- Company vehicle provided for work assignments.
Pay & Schedule
Pay starts at $27.00 per hour and will increase based on experience.

Schedule
