Journeyman/Master Plumbers

Salary: Based on experience, with an additional 30% per hour for all work performed in Big Sky.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a point of contact for general contractors, subs, and clients.
• Maintain regular communication with the General Manager, General Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Clients.
• Read and work from blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematics.
• Work closely with the purchasing manager to procure materials and communicate new project needs with field/admin/accounting.
• Engage in project forecasting and the creation of schedules.
• Appropriately account for scope and exclusions in all contracts.
• Perform all plumbing work in accordance with code and company standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Licensed or license-eligible MT Plumbing Journeyman/Master.
• Valid MT driver’s license, or ability to acquire within 3 months.
• Journeyman/Master level knowledge of building and plumbing codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.
• Preferred: Service plumbing experience.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly communicate with others in person and by telephone.
• Frequently sit, stand, move, use hands to operate tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.

• Frequently lift and move objects up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and move objects over 50 pounds.

Working Conditions

• Work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
• Perform work at heights up to 50' from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, or other safe work areas.
• Regular travel to multiple job sites as needed.
• Position is based in Bozeman, MT, with responsibilities for additional locations.
• FLSA non-exempt position; may require overtime and weekend work on occasion.
