Journeyman Lineman

About the role
Under direct but not constant supervision, perform a full range of overhead line construction and maintenance work on the electrical transmission, sub-transmission, distribution, or service systems. Work on lines either dead or energized and at all voltages, and perform similar and less skilled work as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform overhead line construction and maintenance on electrical transmission, sub-transmission, distribution, or service systems
- Work on energized or de-energized lines at all voltage levels
- Complete related tasks of varying skill levels as needed
Requirements
- Successfully completed A.L.B.A.T. (American Line Builders Apprentice Training) or an equivalent lineman training program
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Pass State/Federal driver’s licensing requirements, medical testing, and drug screening as a condition of employment
- Must reside within 25 miles of the job location
Pay
Hourly rate: $56.52 (Grade Step EA 052, Step 1 of 1 – Top Step). Position is eligible for annual incentive payments based on company performance, subject to management discretion.
