Journeyman Installation - Commercial & Industrial (EG)

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints as needed by the foreman to ensure timely and quality project completion.
• Lays out roof penetrations and ducting, and installs sheet metal fittings as directed by the foreman.
• Provides assistance to the Construction foreman as needed on the job.
• Coordinates and follows job schedules, including labor hours and material costs.
• Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sheet metal installation and piping of commercial HVAC units.
• Knowledge of plumbing and pipe fittings, and ability to perform sheet metal assembly.
• Ability to hang evaporation coils and install overhead hangers.
• Good mechanical skills and knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Experience in the construction industry, with 4+ years of hands-on field experience in commercial HVAC construction.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC construction products and tools.
• Knowledge of refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and detailing HVAC duct fittings.

Competitive Compensation: $35.00- $50.00/hr.
