Journeyman Electrician - Substation

Job Summary

Works under general direction of job foreman and other project supervisors.

Perform power and control wiring of substation equipment and the control house in accordance with project drawings and details as well as electrical codes.

Install substation equipment, conduit and grounding.

Perform or assist with other substation tasks such as welding, pipe bending, concrete forming and finishing, erection of steel structures and material handling.

Works from all types of ladders and personnel lifting equipment in accordance with safety standards.

Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.

Completes other duties as directed.

Travel required.

Qualifications

• Valid State Electrical Journeyman's license
• High School diploma/GED
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.

$3500 hire bonus applies and per diem as eligible.
