Erwin Electric, Inc is currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician - Residential/Commercial Service in the Sarasota/Mantee Area.

Responsibilities

• Provide High level of customer service and professionalism
• Assemble and install electrical equipment, conductors, lighting, devices and associated material to meet all requirements of the customer's scope
• Perform Testing, Upgrades and Repairs to electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure that installations are completed in a neat and workmanlike manner and adhere to NEC and Florida Building code requirements
• Maintain company provided tools and manage truck stock inventory levels

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the trade
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Service
• Prior experience with lighting control systems, whole house generators, dock power
• Journeyman card (Years of experience in lieu of card may be considered)
• Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record
• Clean criminal background check & able to pass a drug test
• Neat and professional appearance
• Troubleshooting experience is required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use hands to hold, feel, or reach electrical components
• Stand, climb, balance, stoop, crouch, or crawl for extended periods of time
• Adequate close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
• Ability to regularly lift and move 50 lbs. – 100 lbs

Compensation

$30-36 hourly. Total compensation is based on experience and/or licensing. Candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance will receive top pay.
