Journeyman Electrician (Residential)

About the role

Journeyman Electrician Thornton & Grooms is a company that has been trusted and guaranteed since 1937. We are currently seeking a Journeyperson Electrician to support HVAC installations, mentor apprentices, and contribute to the growth of our Electrical division.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, replace, and test electrical systems and equipment
• Support HVAC installation projects with electrical expertise
• Lead, guide, and train apprentices and other electricians
• Maintain electrical panels, motor controls, and system upgrades
• Help develop training, safety standards, and department processes
• Support revenue goals, quality standards, and customer satisfaction KPIs
• Run 3–6 calls per day
• Meet the department HCC conversion goal of 60% on new opportunities
• Achieve 1 online review for every 20 completed calls
• Maintain quality standards in workmanship, safety, and appearance
• Commit to sitting for the Master Electrician test within 1–2 years

Requirements

• Valid Journeyperson Electrical License, residential and/or light commercial experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• The ability to pass a drug test, background check, and clean motor vehicle report
