Journeyman Electrician - Miami

About the role

Hypower is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our dynamic team. Founded in 1991, we are a leading electrical and utility contractor operating across multiple states. We specialize in heavy civil electrical infrastructure, building construction, outside plant power and communications projects, airfield lighting, and solar farms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class performance in electrical construction projects.
• Work collaboratively in a positive-thinking environment.
• Adhere to NEC Code requirements and maintain safe work practices.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Manage projects efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Five or more years of electrical experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electrical construction.
• Excellent understanding of NEC Code requirements and safe work practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A valid Florida State or County Journeyman Electrician license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

• Proficiency in electrical construction techniques.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

The wage range for this position is $24/hr - $30/hr based on experience and qualifications.
