Journeyman Electrician / Foreman / Service Tech

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting across various types of commercial builds.
• May lead and manage a team of electricians on commercial and industrial new construction and remodeling projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and building codes to ensure accurate work.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, meeting OSHA regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate with superintendents, project managers, and contractors to ensure project timelines are maintained.
• Inspect completed work for quality control and compliance with local electrical codes.
• Hands-on approach and requirements to work with tool bags for electrical installations.
• Mentor and train apprentice and journeymen electricians to develop their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Journeyman electrician
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Proven leadership ability with excellent communication skills
• Experience with both new construction and remodel projects in the commercial and industrial sectors
• Valid electrical license and certifications (where applicable)
• Self-starting, highly motivated, and used to working in environments that move quickly
• Demonstrate the highest standards of ethics and integrity
• Strong customer/people relationship skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet company standards for pre-employment background and drug screening
