About the role

Sustana is the leading manufacturer of sustainably produced, premium recycled fiber and paper, utilizing post‑consumer material to create high‑quality, low carbon footprint products, with 12 locations across North America. This is a full‑time opportunity for a highly motivated individual who has strong mechanical and technical knowledge. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a valid Journeymen's card.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and change out instrumentation used to monitor process and equipment
• Diagnose and fix electrical issues throughout our mill
• Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturer manuals, and schematics
• Help spec out spare parts and necessary upgrades to electrical equipment and MCC’s
• Help with other general maintenance tasks
• Follow all company safety policies and quality standards

Skills and Requirements

• Valid Journeymen card
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Understands and can work on drive systems and PLC’s
• Experience with distributed control systems
• Familiarity with industrial fire protection and sprinkler systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair, when possible, HVAC systems
• Experience with industrial plumbing applications, including installation, maintenance, and repairs
• Can use process meters, Hart device and Trex devices
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot boiler and steam systems

Schedule

Monday‑Friday 6am‑2pm with flexibility for down days and call‑ins
