Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and understand installation details, layout drawings and other drawings & documents typically associated with construction packages.
- Complete assigned tasks in accordance with construction project specifications.
- Install, commission, and maintain power, instrumentation, process controls, and SCADA equipment.
- Mechanical and Electrical installation of control panels and instrumentation.
- Rigid, EMT, PVC coated rigid conduit service, feeders, and branch circuits.
- Controls, fiber, and network cabling.
- Sterling tubing and instrumentation service.
- Service equipment, MCC, panelboards.
- Field wiring of control panels and instrumentation.
- Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting of power and control systems.
- Cookordination repair, testing, and installation of power and control systems.
- Establish/Maintain behaviors that demonstrate Safety as a Personal Core Value.
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and safety requirements and protocols.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license.
- 4+ years industrial electrical field experience; power and control systems experience preferred.
- Ability to work safely, and an eagerness to contribute to a safety-focused team.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Willingness to learn and be hands-on, working in the field alongside our engineers and field technicians.
- Self-motivated individual, ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment, flexible and willing to assist in other technical disciplines.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools, ladders, manlifts, etc.
- Must be flexible and willing to work out-of-town with regular overnight travel.
