Journeyman Electrician

About the role

Loenbro is seeking Journeyman Electricians in the Nashville, TN area. This is a project-based position for candidates with a strong safety orientation, initiative, and experience in commercial and industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Lay out conduit, cable tray, and install jobsite components.
• Train apprentices on the job.
• Analyze work orders, plan daily schedules, investigate complaints, conduct tests, and resolve issues for existing accounts.

Requirements

• Minimum Journeyman skill level experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems.
• Dependable, willing to work long hours, and willing to undergo pre-employment screening.
• Able to lift necessary equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Outside work most of the time.
• Potential exposure to extreme cold and heat.
• Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
• Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
• Climbing stairs and ladders to access elevated platforms.
• Lifting equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
