Responsibilities
- Capable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Able to layout conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations.
- Work with and train apprentices on the job.
- Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
Requirements
- Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in commercial or industrial electrical system.
- Dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed.
- Willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Outside most of the time.
- Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
- Limited working surfaces.
- Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
- Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
- Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights).
- Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks.
