Key Responsibilities
- Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panels
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Install electrical components for generator systems including ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)
- Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Absorb and set mechanical components for generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical components
- Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systems
- Use electrical measurement and testing equipment proficiently and safely
- Ensure all installations meet local and national electrical codes
- Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systems
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician License or Residential Wireman License
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of residential or commercial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code)
- AC and DC electrical experience preferred
- Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
- Comfortable working with tools, conduit benders, and test meters
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions
