Primary Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with the Site Supervisor to determine service needs.
- Cookordinate and supervise client subcontractors while performing on-site services.
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment and other facility-related systems.
- Maintain building lighting, task lighting, parking lot lighting, lighting contactors, emergency lights/exit lights, 120-volt outlets, and lighting contactors controlled by the energy management system.
- Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives, and lighting fixtures; replace damaged parts, broken wires, cables, and connections.
- Monitor and make adjustments to building automation systems.
- Assist the team in maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting electrical systems, emergency generators, lighting systems, and general facility maintenance issues, including plumbing, exterior landscaping, and parking/walkway maintenance.
- Complete accurate and timely paperwork related to duties and responsibilities.
- Use computer skills to manage, receive, complete, and document work orders and preventive maintenance tasks through the CMMS system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed an Apprenticeship Program.
- Must be 21 years old or older.
- Four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; active clearance preferred.
- Journeyman license desired.
- NFPA 70E training.
