About the role
Join Our Team as a Journeyman Electrician!
Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems, wiring, panels, and related components according to project specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
- Perform maintenance and repairs to ensure reliable electrical system performance
- Ensure installations meet company quality standards and workmanship expectations
- Maintain compliance with the National Electrical Code and applicable regulations
- Follow job site safety procedures and enforce proper safety practices
- Prepare work for inspections and support regulatory compliance requirements
- Coordinate daily work tasks to meet project schedules and productivity targets
- Maintain documentation related to installations, repairs, and work progress
- Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices during electrical work activities
- Support knowledge transfer of electrical practices and safety procedures
- Maintain effective communication with project managers and team members
- Conduct on-site client engagement and operational support activities, requiring travel approximately 50–75%
Requirements
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of 4–5 years of electrical experience in residential, commercial, or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation techniques, and troubleshooting practices
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working on large industrial electrical projects
- Previous experience mentoring or supervising apprentices
- Experience coordinating job site activities and project schedules
- Additional electrical certifications or technical training
- Experience as a Leader or Foreman
Qualifications
- Ability to work in various environments including industrial settings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
