Join Our Team as a Journeyman Electrician!

Responsibilities

  • Install electrical systems, wiring, panels, and related components according to project specifications
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to ensure reliable electrical system performance
  • Ensure installations meet company quality standards and workmanship expectations
  • Maintain compliance with the National Electrical Code and applicable regulations
  • Follow job site safety procedures and enforce proper safety practices
  • Prepare work for inspections and support regulatory compliance requirements
  • Coordinate daily work tasks to meet project schedules and productivity targets
  • Maintain documentation related to installations, repairs, and work progress
  • Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices during electrical work activities
  • Support knowledge transfer of electrical practices and safety procedures
  • Maintain effective communication with project managers and team members
  • Conduct on-site client engagement and operational support activities, requiring travel approximately 50–75%

Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of electrical experience in residential, commercial, or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation techniques, and troubleshooting practices
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working on large industrial electrical projects
  • Previous experience mentoring or supervising apprentices
  • Experience coordinating job site activities and project schedules
  • Additional electrical certifications or technical training
  • Experience as a Leader or Foreman

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in various environments including industrial settings
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
