Journeyman Electrician

About the role

The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various commercial and residential settings. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and other tradespeople.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems
• Work with project managers and other tradespeople
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of related experience in electrical work
• Knowledge of electrical theory and safety practices

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment

Skills

• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment
• Experience with wiring and installation techniques

Pay

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
