Journeyman Electrician

About the role

Responsible for designing and implementing mechanical systems in various industrial settings. Works closely with clients to understand project requirements and ensures compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Collaborating with clients to develop project scopes and budgets
• Conducting site visits to assess existing infrastructure and propose improvements
• Preparing detailed specifications and drawings for construction
• Overseeing installation teams to ensure adherence to plans and codes
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting during system operation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Experience with commissioning and testing of mechanical systems
• Passion for sustainable design practices

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of renewable energy technologies
• Experience with green building certifications (LEED, etc.)

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
