Journeyman Electrician - Apex Circuitry

Position Summary

Apex Circuitry, a division of Farbman Group, is seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform troubleshooting and corrective repairs
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Install conduit, panels, breakers, lighting systems, and control wiring
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
• Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
• Communicate effectively with customers, property managers, and team members
• Complete service reports, work orders, and project documentation accurately
• Assist with emergency service calls as needed

Requirements

• Current Michigan Journeyman Electrician License
• Minimum 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, troubleshooting, and installation practices
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with commercial service work, tenant improvements, and maintenance projects
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders, lifts, and rooftops when required
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in occupied commercial office, retail, or industrial properties
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with generators, controls, lighting upgrades, and energy-efficient systems
