JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • More than 5 years of experience as a mechanic in the heavy-duty truck industry.
  • Specializing in Freightliner, Detroit, Allison, Cummins, CAT products, MTU and more.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
  • Passion for working with diesel engines.
  • Valid Driver's license (bonus for CDL holders).
  • Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding repairs.
  • Quality control work to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Keep paperwork updated and hand in upon completion.
  • Meet requirements for certifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical degree or certification a plus.

SKILLS

  • Diagnose complex diesel engine conditions.
  • Maintain diesel engines and diesel components.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team.
  • Ensure quality control of repairs.
