Journeyman Commercial Remodeler

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean, prep, refinish, repair, install, tape, paint and refinish assignments and touch up a variety of commercial refinishing jobs.
• Erects scaffolding, movable and immovable staging.
• Window glazing.
• Carpentry finish work.
• Hardwood floor refinishing.

Supervisory Responsibilities

There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.

Education And/or Experience

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 2 years commercial remodeling experience is required, more experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Journeyman level specialty carpentry skills.
• Journeyman level commercial painter skills.
• Journeyman level window glazing skills.
• Journeyman level experience with doors, casings, and windows.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, using hands and/or fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Operating office equipment, reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, talking or hearing, tasting or smelling.
• Routine lifting and/or moving up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish the nature of objects using the eye.
