Journeyman Carpenters - Port Arthur, TX

Primary Responsibilities

• Construct, fabricate, install, and dismantle form work of fixtures of metal, wood and other accessories.
• Read and follow construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure structures meet project requirements.
• Build, install, and repair timber and concrete structures, including formwork, foundations, wharves, bridges, seawalls, and retaining walls.
• Perform carpentry work in coastal, over-water, tidal, and confined space conditions, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, and pneumatic tools correctly and maintain them in working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures, including fall protection, PPE requirements, and marine construction best practices.
• Cookordination daily activities with supervisors, laborers, and other trades to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
• Evaluate completed work for accuracy, structural integrity, and conformance to specifications, making corrections as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of Journeyman level Carpenter experience at meets or exceeds performance expectations.
