Primary Responsibilities
- Construct, fabricate, install, and dismantle form work of fixtures of metal, wood, and other accessories.
- Read and interpret instructions and document, plan, and perform work activities independently.
- Build, install, and repair timber and concrete structures, including formwork, foundations, wharves, bridges, seawalls, and retaining walls.
- Construct and strip forms for poured-in-place concrete using dimensional lumber, plywood, and modular systems.
- Perform carpentry work in coastal, over-water, tidal, and confined space conditions, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, saws, drills, and pneumatic tools correctly and maintain them in working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures, including fall protection, PPE requirements, and marine construction best practices.
- Cookordination daily activities with supervisors, laborers, and other trades to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
- Evaluate completed work for accuracy, structural integrity, and conformance to specifications, making corrections as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of Journeyman level Carpenter experience.
