Position: Journalist/WriterType: Hourly contractCompensation: $90-$140/hourLocation: RemoteCommitment: 10-40 hours/week Role ResponsibilitiesEvaluate multiple AI-generated responses for clarity, tone, helpfulness, and adherence to writing instructions.Assign quality scores to written responses and provide concise, evidence-based rationales for evaluations.Identify persuasive but inaccurate, unsupported, or off-topic content that deviates from the intended brief.Detect factual errors, logical inconsistencies, and issues affecting the accuracy and coherence of written content.Document evaluations using digital content review platforms and project-specific tools.Collaborate with project managers and reviewers to maintain consistent evaluation standards.Complete assigned evaluations independently while meeting project deadlines and quality expectations. RequirementsNative or near-native English writing proficiency, with a university degree from an institution in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.Strong experience in journalism, reporting, editing, copy editing, fact-checking, ghostwriting, or published writing.Demonstrated expertise in technical writing, content evaluation, critical analysis, and written communication.Strong editing and fact-checking skills, including familiarity with style guides and editorial standards.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to assess accuracy, clarity, tone, and audience suitability.Ability to work independently in a remote environment and deliver high-quality assessments within deadlines.Familiarity with annotation, AI model evaluation, or digital content review platforms is preferred.
