About the role

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) are needed to provide care in private homes in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Assist with medication administration
• Monitor client health and report changes to healthcare providers
• Ensure client safety and comfort
• Follow agency policies and procedures

Requirements

• Active Florida CNA license or Certified HHA certificate from a Florida-approved training program
• Valid driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance
• CPR certification
• Completed CEUs: 2 hours Alzheimer's, 1 hour HIV/AIDS, and 2 hours Assistance with Self-Administered Medication
• Required dementia training through Elder Affairs

Qualifications

• Pass an AHCA background screening
• Health statement dated within the past six months showing freedom from communicable diseases
