About the role

Hawaiian Building Maintenance is a full-service asset services partner operating in the Hawaiian Islands. Founded in 1957, we have expanded our capabilities to provide integrated building support across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC and maintenance tasks for commercial, retail, and residential properties on Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii Island.
• Offer restoration services such as water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation on Oahu.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in building maintenance or related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment.

Skills

• Proficient in using common maintenance tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay

• Part-time Custodian: Compensation range: $18.00 - 22.00 per hour.
• Full-time Maintenance Technician: Compensation range: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Hours vary based on assigned tasks and property needs.
