As an Azure Data Engineer, you will implement end-to-end modern data platforms, leveraging the power of Azure. Your attention to detail and expertise in data engineering will play a vital role in shaping the future of our data-driven organization.
Implement End-to-End Modern Data Platforms
- Develop and maintain end-to-end modern data platforms
- From data ingestion to processing, storage, and modeling, you will have the opportunity to work on every aspect of the data lifecycle
- Harness the capabilities of Azure to ensure the seamless flow of data and unlock its full potential
Analyze, Organize, and Build
- Analyze and organize raw data, transforming it into valuable insights
- Build robust data systems and pipelines to efficiently combine raw information from various sources and derive meaningful patterns and trends
Collaborate with Data Scientists and Architects
- Work closely with our talented data scientists and architects on several exciting projects
- Fuel innovation and enable the development of advanced analytical tools and programs
Enhance Data Quality and Reliability
- Explore creative ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Identify opportunities for data acquisition to expand our data assets and drive deeper insights
Required Technical Skills and Experience
- 2 + years' experience in Extracting, Transforming, and Loading (ETL) of data
- Extensive Engineering and Development Experience
- Azure: 2+ years' experience in Azure networking (VNet, Subnet, private endpoints), Azure infrastructure (container instances), and proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
- Azure DevOps and Data Stacks: Building Azure DevOps Pipelines using YAML templates, and showcasing knowledge of Azure Data & AI stacks such as Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in quantitative areas
- Possessing a degree in areas such as Computer Science, Information Management, Big Data & Analytics, or a related field
- Beneficial Azure certifications: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Data Fundamentals, Azure Data Engineer Associate
