Roles are flexible and as-needed, placing you at the top of our list when opportunities arise.

Responsibilities

• Teacher (including substitute roles):
  • Follow lesson plans and instructions left by the regular classroom teacher.
  • Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment.
  • Manage student behavior and ensure safety.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
  • Provide instruction in visual arts, performing arts, or music (as applicable).
• Substitute Teacher Aide/Paraprofessional:
  • Assist with classroom management and instruction.
  • Provide one-on-one or small-group student support.
  • Supervise students in classrooms, on the playground, or during lunch.
• Other Potential Roles:
  • Substitute School Nurse
  • Before and Aftercare program support
  • Office/Front Desk Support
  • Bus Drivers

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred (especially for substitute teacher roles).
• Experience: Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to adapt to various classroom environments and student needs.
• Background Check: All candidates must pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting as required by state law.
