About the role
Assured Quality Homecare (ASQ) is a nationally recognized, award-winning agency headquartered in Norwich, CT, with operations in Warwick, RI. We are accepting applications for our upcoming Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Certification Class at our Norwich Corporate Office. You receive compensation during the program and, upon successful completion, become eligible to begin your career as a Certified PCA with our clients.
What you'll do as a PCA
- Assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and dressing
- Support mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Monitor nutritional intake and provide vital medication reminders
- Act as a professional advocate for families, providing peace of mind and extraordinary care
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance (with your name listed on the policy)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Commitment to the training schedule and ability to work weekends once matched with a client
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a "ready to work" mindset
- Genuine passion for helping others and a desire to be the best in the business

Schedule
Training takes place at the Norwich, CT Corporate Office. Attendance at every class is mandatory. You must be punctual, prepared, and ready to learn. After certification, you must have availability to work weekends once matched with a client.
