Join our Dynamic Urgent Care Team in Albuquerque, NM | Full-time Physician Assistant

About the Position

A flexible, shift-based schedule
Clinic hours: Monday through Friday 8a-8p and Saturday through Sunday 9a-4p
Two on-call shifts per month – additional compensation
Onsite lab and point-of-care testing
Dedicated support staff

Epic EMR system

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of New Mexico
• At least one year of experience in urgent, emergent, or primary care
• Passing scores on relevant exams (e.g., COMLEX Level 2-SES)

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
• Successful completion of national certification exam
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities

Skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs)
