About the role

As Juno's Bank Social Care Practitioner, you will provide day-to-day care for children and young people living with us.

• Place of work: Wirral/Halton
• Remuneration: £13.73/hour; £60 sleep-in rate
• Job terms: No fixed hours, flexible working is required

Responsibilities

• Participating in shared activities and interests with children to nurture their wellbeing, learning and growth
• Working flexibly to meet changing demands and being willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities to ensure the safe day-to-day running of the home
• Taking responsibility for ensuring the health and safety of children, the workforce and visitors to the home by maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience working with 8-17-year-olds in children's residential care
• Driving licence (preferred)
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS clearance
