About the role

PNG Air is seeking experienced ATR Captains and First Officers to join its growing flight operations team. The airline is committed to maintaining high safety standards and connecting communities throughout Papua New Guinea.

Responsibilities

• Operate ATR aircraft safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and policies
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers
• Collaborate with ground crew and other flight crew members
• Participate in regular training and safety briefings

Requirements

• Valid commercial pilot's license (CPL) with multi-engine rating
• ATR 72 type rating
• At least 1000 hours total flying time
• Current medical certificate
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for aviation and commitment to safety

Qualifications

• Experience in Papua New Guinean airspace
• Knowledge of PNG’s domestic air routes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency in navigation and meteorology
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent teamwork and leadership abilities
