About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated team members to join our community at Whispering Oak Place in Ellendale, MN. Whispering Oak Place offers assisted living and memory care services, providing a warm, supportive environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents in assisted living and memory care settings.
• Assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Monitor and document resident health and well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing team.
• Engage residents in social, recreational, and enrichment activities designed to enhance their quality of life.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe, supportive, and enriching environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and homelike atmosphere for residents.

Requirements

• Previous experience in senior care, assisted living, or memory care preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications (e.g., CNA, HHA, or PCA) a plus.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents with proper techniques and equipment.
