JOB TITLE FACILITIES OPERATIONS ASSISTANT – NORTHERN VA

About the role

A reliable and detail-oriented Facility Operations Assistant position at SixFour3, ensuring the smooth operation of our fastpitch softball facilities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working independently, and is committed to maintaining a top-tier facility for athletes and guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and straighten up lanes and equipment, ensuring everything is in proper working order.
• Oversee ball allocation and ensure all equipment is available and in excellent condition.
• Clean and organize the trainers’ closet and equipment storage areas.
• Engage with and provide exceptional support to customers on-site, including giving tours when needed.
• Keep the facility clean and presentable by vacuuming and addressing any necessary cleaning tasks.
• Replenish inventory and notify management when supplies need to be reordered.
• Monitor the facility for any safety hazards and promptly report issues to management.
• Communicate effectively with management and staff to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Answer and respond to phone calls, corporate texts, and emails.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Ability to work independently and in an unsupervised environment.
• Some computer-based tasks may be required from time to time.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Schedule

Flexible daily work schedule, typically from 3 PM to 9 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional hours available between 7 AM and 7 PM on weekends. This role offers approximately 6 hours per day with a minimum commitment of 2 days per week. Full-time opportunities are also available for the right candidate.
