Job Site Construction Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of day-to-day on-site operations for assigned commercial construction projects
• Ensuring project delivery meets timeline, budget, quality, and safety standards
• Cooking with Project Managers to execute construction schedules
• Communicating effectively with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients
• Enforcing jobsite safety, cleanliness, and accountability among all workers
• Completing daily reports and photo documentation using ProCore or similar software
• Conducting quality control walkthroughs and resolving issues proactively
• Tracking and reporting material usage, T&M tickets, and subcontractor progress
• Ensuring accurate project documentation and adherence to company procedures
• Traveling as required to job sites in multiple states

Qualifications

• Ability to work on sites located across the Southeast for extended periods
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction field supervision
• High school diploma or GED required; additional education a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency with construction management software (ProCore preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret plans, scopes, and specifications
• Highly organized and self-motivated with attention to detail
• Tech-savvy — able to use tablets, reporting apps, and mobile documentation tools
• Unafraid to hold subcontractors accountable and provide honest feedback
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
